Artist and neighborhood resident Rebecca Ross worked with neighbors to develop a palette of art elements and designs to adorn multiple irrigation standpipes. Rebecca worked closely with the property owner of this location to develop the design for this mosaic. As this site is a major hub for the neighborhood flood irrigation, when the water flows, it is quite noisy, like a waterfall. Taking a cue from the use of this standpipe, Rebecca created a mosaic that suggests the ripples and flow of water currents.
